It's all Japanese but navigating is simple anyways.
Once you open the site to the left will be a list of the classes the order is
Slayer
Fighter
Gunner (Male)
Mage
Priest
Gunner (Female)
Once you've selected the class you'll be taken to a screen that displays the character with some drop menus to the right of the character, and along the bottom (underneath the check boxes) will be the equipment (and hair).

When you click one of those a bunch of boxes will appear that display the equipment as they would look in your inventory (they take a little while to load). Simply click on the boxes and the character in the display box will equip the item displayed (boxes that don't have pictures will still equip items). Sadly there are no weapons, only the avatar items and default equipment.
To the right of the equipment There will be 4 more options they are : Reset Random Save Load
Those are the basics, if I need to explain it better tell me and I can try to upload pictures. You can also post pictures of your character using photobucket or anything similar. One last thing, if you close the simulator it will save your character so if you open it up again later your character will still be there.
