Since yesterday, I've been trying to get my brand new Precision PC Gaming Headset microphone work...

I had some help from you guys yesterday, still the mic wasn't working. Earlier today I called the customer support and not to

my surprise, I was greeted by a recorded message: "Thank You for call Logitech Customer Services..."

If you need support for on of our products press 1...

If you are using a Windows operating system press 1...

blab blab Audio devices blab blab press 4

Please wait for on of our custom services representatives...

    ~~Techo music~~

After about 20-30 mins of this I hung up...then tried three other times with the same results....

I tried a fourth time AND FINALLY someone picks up after about an hour.

The guy didn't seem to bad, but it sounded like he didn't really know anything about the headset...

I talked with him for 25-35 mins re-trying everything again...

I noticed something, the damn mic picks up radio waves from my cellphone!!! I told him about it and he said that can't be and I was like okay.

Not long after that he said I could send it to them and wait 3-4 weeks for them to send back or take back to store for another one (which I might do).

After I got off the phone, I thought back to the radio waves thing and I use the headset/mic on my cellphone radio...I worked perfectly...even better than a car radio.

    Now I know I don't have a mic but a radio antenna...

I don't know if there is anything beyond epic failure for this....

The headset I'm using is logitech..I suggest going for a normal headset and nothing flashy with lights and all this extra stuff.

A headset is all that is needed.
That is the kind I have anyways...it's just your reg. headset.

I enjoy earphones from Hyundai. Gives off quite a nice bass and clear sound and doesn't need to be
stuck inside my ears when I use them.
Some of them come with a microphone on the cord.
They're also very cheap if you have the right connections. Think I bought mine for £1 in Beijing.

That's a shame, Logitech usually produced pretty good quality peripherals for good prices. My Logitech headphone/mic crapped out on me but it was refurbished and I kept getting the cord caught in my chair wheel.

For audio headphones, I prefer Sennheiser.

    I'm currently using a Koss Porta-Pro headset.

Hey by the way as we talk about stuff like this. Does anyone know of any keyboard
that's really cheap but have very light keys (like a laptop)?
The one I'm currently using is like a stone brick.

The one I use has softer keys.

Logitech Wave. Its a cordless keyboard/mouse combo.

Ergonomic design too.I got mine for 20 bucks new but I got a deal on it.
    (both keyboard+mouse $20)

You might also want to check out newegg.com and look at the various keyboards.
