Can someone teach me the basics of coding? I want to be a Computer Software Engineer or a Software Programmer (want to do something that has to do with computers) and i researched the jobs a bit and they code files in software. Also, I want to help my WoW, Ms PS code.

I also believe this should be a general skill that should and could be learned by anyone.

I don't know anything of coding...I do recommend asking your school about learning code, if they offer...or do some learning over the internet. You're probably better off looking over the internet really than asking someone about it...How I figure anyways..Though, hope you find the right info/people though. Sorry I am of no help though.

I suggest download Windows Visual Basics C++. I could probably suggest a couple tutorials and starters to teach you the basics. If you really want to I suppose you can add me via Windows Live. Its not something to easy to learn and takes a lot of time and investing to write a good code for what ever needs.

I'd go with The Last God.
He knows more than I do I'm sure.

Visual basics express and well... generally anything from that series is good for new coders.
The interface is simple, and the codes are quick to learn, and as far as VBE have developed, it
isn't so short handed when compared to C++ anymore. Should be ok to create simple programs.
I suggest maybe try a bit around with animations or storage finding programs like a picture viewer or something.
Anyway, in most dedicated bookstores, you will find big books about coding that comes with various tutorials and
an installation CD for VBE/C++ depending on what you choose.
