Not that I know of, but somehow they're connected to Gacha in Japan though.

I did a little more research on the Victory points and you can also use them to buy pretty good weapons for 1000 vp which Im sure you guys knew and screw Nexon for not including a broom in those weapons grrrrr. But I think you also need 1000 points for your acsension class quest. Atleast in the other versions.

VP's can also be used for each subclass' awakening quest.
I think you need a total of 700 VP's for that quest.
