Who plans to PvP hard?

Just wanted to know which MyDFO members plan to make PvP their main aspect of the game (Level only to be able to get skills to PvP better, PvP as much as you can, basically have your main focus PvP when OBT comes out).


I'll be PvPing because that's one of the most exciting/entertaining things in DFO, and I plan to make myself better in all ways possible.


So who plans to have PvP as their main focus in DFO?

When stages get boring, pvp becomes my attention. However, as I have
no idea about this game, up to you to teach me tehe.

No need to teach Self-teaching while staging is the best way.. and you can also practice combos against the computer in the arena.

Just do combos in stages and you'll be ready to PvP (Considering you have good reflexes and a general idea of predicting movements)

What if I'm the type of person who is slow like a turtle, but bursts a huge combo when the moment comes?

How will you be sure you won't get combo'ed for massive damage in the time you are preparing for yours?

Turtling? If it's possible. Or simply flying around.

Turtling? If it's possible. Or simply flying around.

Lol that's right you gonna be a witch. That's gonna be hard for melee types, but watch out for asura and other mid range
attackers.

WEll fighters and mages seem to appeal the most to me. After playing Japanese DnF I must say gunners seem to make things a bit too easy. I'm goign to be make a witch, battle mage, Monk, and either a striker/brawler/grapper (needa try these out). My witch is going to be my main though. I'm going to try and have a sort of hybrid build so I don't get ownt to easily. My battle mage is going to be my pvp fav most likely though. TO me an MMO isn't good if it doesn't have pvp. I like to play games competitvely so I'm looking forward to pvp very greatly.

I'll be PvPing all day... as soon as my Fatigue Bar goes out.

I'm actually hoping for an IP ban on this. Playing japanese DNF the pvp lags like hell and its not because my comp sucks but I'm too far away from teh server. Restricting it would be nice.

If the server's going international, then there will be certain lag.

Yea, even though the CBT was for NA (Or U.S.?) only, there were many many cases of lag, and many cases of people constantly disconnecting, freezing, etc.. *shudder* not fun sometimes.

I wonder, what system is the game based on?
Server sided everything or client sided stuff?
If things are client sided, the game will turn into a hack festival.

as soon as fatigue runs out or no parties for what i need, i hate peer to peer..

The system is peer to peer? I really hope things like delay aren't client sided.

Peer to peer is fail unless everybody gets up to date computers... which isnt happening.

Considering there will be a huge community of South Americans or something similar,
I suppose we will face tonns of spike/lagers

IP ban please....can't deal with the lagging in pvp...

Hopefully this will be just the Americas/European Ver..

I think half or more of Europe got very good connection, I usually
get 50-100 ping to Americans.
