A very own forum, where you can make threads and talk about it? Don't you think that's a bit too much from you?

You can always make a sticky for the guild. Because I mean, a forum just seems too much space for a guild.

People will probably like that idea and you'll be having a lot of forums. Just imagine how much scrolling down you'll have to do on the main page if a lot of people get their own guild forum.

That is true that there will probably be a lot of guilds, however if some people are really serious about using these forums to host and promote their guild they can probably just save the link that is directly to their forum here.

Understand that, it is just that there will be multiple forums for multiple guilds that may try to come here and just may be difficult for guilds to find their guild forum is what we are saying.

So you're saying they'll be having a forum in this category?

    http://www.mydfo.net/guild-c3/

Like, a forum with the guild's name and a description?

It wont be chaos or unorganize I can promise you that. All the guild will be lined up inside of the category and the the guild won't be bump up and down. The first guild that signded up are lock at that position.

Ah ok well it should be fine, though some people may complain that how far down their guild is to find the forums, but shouldn't be all that bad and hectic to deal with.

But Hung, I'm not feeling good about this.

You're willing to do that if the guild leader is serious, and one of the requirements is to have at least 10 people ... that doesn't sound very serious.

I don't know the maximum amount of people you can have in a guild, but you should say to have at least half of the maximum amount of people. That sounds more serious than 10 members. Any guild can have 10 members.

^ Yeah Brentt's right. That could mean a dead guild for all we know.
They can always use Ctrl + F to find their guild.

You should probably make it to 15 or 20. ;)

That would put a big relief on me. Like I said before, 10 doesn't seem very much.

iReject and set how many he wants, lets wait until we see the max size of a guild and if it can be increased or not. Also stating they have to be myDFO members is better, meaning they have to be registered to be acknowledged. Not everyone tends to register on fansite forums or even official guild websites some people make when they are serious about their guild.

Our forum is new we need to make minimum requirement to make them feel comfortable. Scaring the guild leader that he/she can't make a guild because he can't find 15+ people to register our forum

True, and seeing as our current member count, with people that haven't even appeared here yet. 10 seems about right and you can change it when the active member counts gets pretty high.

This means you need 10 people to join this forum because you recommended it to them, right?

To requst a guild, the guild master must recruite at least 10 people to join myDFO.net. This is fairly easy..you set up the guild, recruite bunch of people, and then have at least 10 people register at our website
