Arad Senki - It all works but I can't create a character

Hello, So I've managed to register/download/install the game and it works.
But my only problem is when I go to create a character I can't type anything in for its name.

Can anyone please tell me how to fix this or make a character for me?

I don't know, I could type my name. Perhaps you can change regional settings to japanese? Or you could download a japanese language pack.

type @@@@ japanese keybaors have @'s it worked for me after much frustration and i dont hve my windows xp cd to do japanese input.
