    Launcher Information Empty Launcher Information

Post by Brentt 20/7/2009, 6:57 pm

Alright, now time for Launcher's info.
    Here it is:

    Basic Launcher Info

    Subclass of: Gunner
Unique Look: Sub weapon attached to back
    Weapon(s) of choice: Hand Cannon
    Armor Mastery: Heavy Plate
    Physical/Magical Damage: Both
    Ranged/Close Quarters: Ranged
PVM/PVP: More PVM oriented than PVP
Specialty Element(s): Slightly fire, slightly light
    Party Support: None

    Launcher Skills

Note: Launchers gain access to higher ranks of the Gunner skills Barbecue, M-137 Gatling Gun, and M-3 Flamethrower.

    Handling of Heavy Weapons:
Automatically granted when a Gunner becomes a Launcher. All skills under the Sub Weapon category receive a +1 skill bonus.

    Sub Weapon Crusher:
Passive skill. Originally, the motion of pulling out a Sub Weapon has no striking properties. After learning Sub Weapon Crusher, if enemies are adjacent to the Launcher, they will be knocked back by the motion of pulling out a Sub Weapon.

    Steyr Heavy Sniper Rifle:
The Launcher whips out a huge Steyr Aug sniper rifle and fires a single, large round with slight homing properties. The round does physical damage as it hits, then stays embedded in the struck enemy for a few seconds before glowing red and exploding. The explosion deals magic damage.

    Laser Rifle:
The Launcher whips out a heavy laser rifle that looks like an oversized Super Soaker without the muzzle. The laser blast travels nearly the entire length of the room that the Launcher is in, dealing physical damage. The signature skill of the Launcher.

    Laser Rifle Charging:
Passive Skill. Once the Launcher has learned this skill, by holding down a button, the Launcher can charge up the laser rifle (needs 1 second to full charge). The longer it is charged, the wider the laser beam, and the more powerful the blast.

    Flamethrower Booster:
A variation of the M-3 Flame Thrower. Instead of a wide cloud of flame, the Launcher shoots out a powerful but narrow stream of fire, simultaneously knocking back and trapping any enemies caught in the stream. Unlike the original M-3 skill, however, it is hard to hit very short, burrowed, or ducking enemies with Flame Stream. The Launcher can move while performing Flamethrower Booster; the more levels of the skill, the higher the damage and the faster the movement of the Launcher.

    Miracle Vision:
Buff skill. Temporary increases the power and accuracy of Sub Weapon skills for 20 seconds.

    Photon Bomb:
The Launcher snaps his fingers, and a white missile drops down to the ground at a location of the Launcher's choosing, dealing massive light-based damage.

    Heavy Weapon Mastery:
Passive skill. Decreases the amount of MP required to use Sub Weapon skills.

    Hand Cannon Mastery:
Passive skill. Increases Hand Cannon firing rate.

    Awakening Skills

At level 48, the Launcher can awaken as a Blaster.

    Spectral Search Eye:
Passive skill. Shows the locations of enemies that are off-screen via locator tags, and decreases the probability of Sub Weapon attacks missing.

    Satellite Beam:
The Blaster snaps his fingers like when using Proton Bomb, and a red targeting circle appears on the ground, onto which a wide column of laser rains down constantly. The beam will move around on its own towards enemies in 12 seconds, allowing the Blaster to move around while the Satellite Beam is being used.
Again, I simply posted this information from the Spitfire page at DNFwiki.
Small - and I mean small - changes were made to the information; to see the original details, visit the Launcher page at DNFwiki.
It's been said that DNFwiki is outdated; this was posted to simply give you an idea and information.
Thanks for reading (if you were)!

I can't wait for this. Because I may rely heavily on it.

Depends. If DnFwiki makes the articles of them, then I would.
