    Playing Cards!! Empty Playing Cards!!

Plastic is good since it is very durable. only the really expensive ($20+) are good at sliding and have extremely amazing air resistance. Most of them however don'e slide too well so are harder to perform card tricks or shuffles.

Paper wears down in about 5 hours of playing, from perfect to eh, and finally to worn. New decks have amazing "air rift" which allows EXTREME sliding. However unless handled with proper care during play the sliding will die down quickly.

Pokemon is pikachu i choose you

Yugioh is playing a card game with your soul on the line and an unfair distribution of cards and values.

Post by Flair 3/9/2009, 12:05 pm

Quite honestly, I used to 'collect' Yugioh and pokemon cards... but never 'really' played them...
Think about it.. not many people bothered to read the rules.. we just wanted to get the best cards and show off lol.

As for plastic vs paper... There's a few plastic cards that catch my eye (In terms of looks) and they are pretty durable.. Although... you can't stack cards with plastic cards as good as you can with paper cards...

    My decision:
Plastic for playing card games like Hearts, Poker, Bridge, War, Rummy ,etc..

Paper for card stacking (I used to love this when I was young)

Yugioh and Pokemon - Not for playing... more for showboating.

i LOVE the durability and the extreme ease to do super amazing shuffles including one handed shuffles with plastic cards.
unfortunately I can't do the fan with them (in a split second spread out all the cards in possession or in the deck with one hand or two hands) since they have a rough-ish feeling. My new deck has pretty nice air rift though; they can slide a distance using air resistance after landing on the ground. amazing, cost like 20 bucks. laugh at me if you will for wasting money on cards but im kinda in a rich family... one of my cousin's families are crazy gamblers/stock people so i get free expensive cards? Very Happy

if you ever get plastic cards, get either KEM or Gemaco Still.

Go to certain countries in Asia. For 20 US dollars you can get 80 paper card packs.

It's not really gambling. We're kind of gambling for reputation or whatever, people who win a lot at "Capitalism" or "Poker" usually make people go "Damn, this guy's good." People who lose a lot.. get the opposite.Though occasionally we bet money, but it's a minimal amount. Most I ever lost was $5, most I ever won was $29.

Computer game based on magic the gathering, just that you summon monsters, cast spells etc that you can see rather than yelling
